Lake Research Partners interviewed 1,000 Latino voters from Bexar County, Nueces County, Cameron County, Hidalgo County, Webb County, and rural counties in between, including 700 likely 2014 general election voters, and 300 low-propensity voters. 51% of the surveys were conducted in Spanish. Data indicate that Latinos in South Texas and along the border believe what is happening on the border today is a humanitarian crisis more so than an immigration crisis, and they want child migrants treated with respect.
