This poll shows that Texas voters support conservative, pay-as-you-go solutions for transportation budget crisis. Voters are staunchly opposed to using any new transportation revenues for new toll roads. Fifty-eight percent (58%) of registered voters oppose using additional transportation funding to developing new toll roads, while just thirty-four percent (34%) support this. A solid majority of conservative Republicans (61%) oppose the use of new transportation revenue for toll roads, driven by forty percent (40%) who strongly oppose this.
