For nearly three years, U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz have been slowing down the process associated with President Obama's ability to nominate federal judges in Texas.
So all of the issues you care about - immigration, health care, rights of same-sex couples - languish in court, causing a legal backlog of 12,000 cases and creating a judicial emergency because of politics.
Overall, there are nine vacancies in Texas' federal courts - with one more seat expected to become vacant in January 2016. Of Texas' nine vacancies, eight are considered emergencies - meaning the delays are so serious
Check out our latest video urging Sens. Cornyn and Cruz to take action and end our judicial vacancy crisis - then sign our petition to stop delaying justice for Texans.
